Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Inck website and app. By creating an account or using Inck, you agree to these terms. If you are registering on behalf of a child, you agree to these terms on the child’s behalf and are responsible for their account.
What Inck is
Inck operates a marketplace that connects students and parents with independent teachers in the United Arab Emirates. Teachers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Inck. Inck is not a school and does not itself provide tuition — it provides the platform through which students, parents and teachers find each other, schedule lessons and communicate.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. Accounts are accessed via one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your phone number; keep your device and phone number secure. Each person should hold one account. A parent or guardian may register and manage an account on behalf of a child and is responsible for all activity on that account.
Teacher verification and conduct
Before receiving bookings, teachers must complete identity verification, which includes submitting an Emirates ID and, where applicable, a passport, driving licence, good-conduct certificate or work permit, and typing their name as a signature to accept these terms. Inck may reject, suspend or remove any teacher account that fails verification, provides false information, or violates these terms or applicable law.
Teachers are expected to conduct lessons professionally, keep student information confidential, and comply with all laws applicable to tutoring in the UAE.
Bookings, cancellations and rescheduling
<!-- OWNER TODO: set exact cancellation/rescheduling/refund policy, then replace this generic section. -->A booking is confirmed once a student or parent and a teacher agree on a lesson time through the app. Either party should give reasonable notice through the app if they need to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
Payments
Payments on Inck are processed by Stripe. By making or receiving a payment, you also agree to Stripe’s terms of service. Inck retains a record of each order and payment but never stores your full card number.
Prohibited conduct
- Harassing, threatening or discriminating against another user
- Sharing another person’s verification documents or personal data without their consent
- Attempting to take a booking, payment or communication outside the platform to avoid fees or safety checks
- Providing false information during registration or verification
- Uploading unlawful, infringing or harmful content
- Interfering with or attempting to circumvent the platform’s security
Intellectual property
The Inck name, logo, website and app are the property of INCK PORTAL CO. L.L.C and may not be used without permission. Content you upload (lesson materials, messages, your intro video, etc.) remains yours; you grant Inck a licence to store, display and transmit it as needed to operate the service.
Liability
Inck provides the platform "as is" and does not guarantee any particular learning outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inck is not liable for the conduct of teachers, students or parents, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Inck is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
